Back to Reality

Hello from tomorrow!

After three months of winter break, week two began with quite the shocker... class. Good news is we have more days of weekend than we do school (shoutout to no Thursday or Friday class)! Here are the highlights of week two, describing how we spent our time not studying:

Highs:

1) Our ferry ride journey to Manly Beach - a vacation from our vacation with scenic views of the harbor. Unfortunately, the name didn't describe the crowd.

2) Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade -  jockstraps and drag queens and thongs - OH MY!! (see video below)
3) Ivy Pool Bar: 4 floors, rooms with varying music, a live DJ, the entire population of Sydney, and an indoor pool - what could go wrong?
4) Our expedition to Blue Mountains - scenic views, hiking, waterfalls, and a beautiful rainforest.

Lows:

1) Paying for a gym pass before realizing there are 135 stairs to class - yes, we counted
2) Spending Monday night with Australia's grimiest male population at Scubar and proceeding to get stranded there until 3:30 am on a school night #badstudents
3) Having to switch our schedules around 1600 times with the hopes of actually getting a class that doesn't suck or interfere with our four day weekend.

Cheers:

1) To finally booking our spring break trip - THAILAND HERE WE COME!!!
2) To the local man at Blue Mountains who gave us Jesus books and eucalyptus leaves
3) To having our weather be your spring break weather year round.

Now sit back, relax, and check out our video or Eva will kill you (seriously though).

Goodbye for now,
A & E

A Sign of Life

Hello from tomorrow!

We've officially made it across the world to Sydney, Australia. Here's a look at our first week down under:

Highs:

1) The beaches: Maroubra > Bondi > Coogee
2) Our awesome roomies Reagan and Emily!!

3) FUTURE (see below)

Lows:

1) The buses (and their extremely rude drivers). Yes, we got lost and ended up back at the airport.
2) The prices - and we thought Disney charged a lot for water...
3) The rain - the only thing keeping us from the beach because when it rains, it POURS.

Three Cheers:

1) To the people who tried to bring their baby into Future music festival - 18+ means 18 years, not 18 months.
2) To the person who called in a noise complaint on our first night - GET USED TO IT!
3) To the next 4 months in this beautiful country - may it be as amazing as this first week.

And now the moment you have all been waiting for..... FUTURE 2015!!!!

Goodbye for now,

A + E
